Electronic Press Kits [EPK] Design

You might ask what is the difference between an EPK and a media kit. It stands for Electronic Press Kit, and it is just that – a press kit in electronic form. The era in which you send physical press kits with physical sheets of paper and a physical CD are nearly extinct for the most part. The lone exception to this may be if you are seeking out a music deal of some sorts. These companies may appreciate receiving a polished physical collection of work in the mail.

There are two common types of EPK's, online and offline. An online EPK functions the same way a website does – it has a public URL address and contains a navigational system to move seamlessly with links to different sections (or pages) for works, gigs, info, press, etc. It can only be accessed with an internet connection. An offline EPK is a bundle of individual files combined in a presentation or even interactive manner which you can easily distribute via CD, DVD, USB, an email attachment.

EPK's differ based on the field you are in, the sample image pictured above is from an authors EPK, an EPK for a musician will be included with their music and so forth. To contact us an get a quote please fill out the form below..
